The presentation, sponsored by SPC’s Stephen Ministry, is open to the public and will be held in SPC’s Fellowship Hall. Shumate, who presented at SPC on grief and trauma in November, is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor who practices in Southport. Her areas of interest include trauma, life crisis, depression and anxiety, issues specific to military service members, health crisis, end of life issues and concerns, caregiver support, compassion fatigue and spirituality.
